Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that in connection with Israel’s strikes on Iran’s military and nuclear facilities, a full-scale war in the Middle East is ‘absolutely real.’
‘Full-scale war in the region is absolutely real, there is no doubt about it,’ Konstantin Kosachev said on Russia-24 TV channel.
The Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council noted that at the moment, it is ‘possible and necessary’ to count on restraint from the Islamic Republic. However, he clarified that Iran has ‘limits to its patience.’
Earlier, the newspaper Strana wrote that the escalation in the Middle East could lead to Ukraine losing Western financial and military resources, which would be redirected to Israel.
