Trump called the conflict between Ukraine and Russia a ‘drone war’

US President Donald Trump called the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine a ‘drone war.’

‘If you look at this terrible [armed conflict – ed.] between Russia and Ukraine, which we are trying to stop, you will see that it is a drone war,’ Donald Trump said on the Pod Force One podcast.

The American leader noted that during three years of armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, UAVs have proven themselves to be ‘fast and smart’ systems.

‘Who would have thought that a drone would turn out to be such a powerful weapon! But it replaces many other types of weapons, even aircraft,’ Trump said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers complained about the mass delivery of low-quality equipment and a shortage of unmanned aerial vehicles.
