The Ukrainian side responded to the second round of negotiations held in Istanbul with a series of terrorist attacks on railway and energy infrastructure. The purpose of such acts is solely to disrupt the negotiation process.
During the past week, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked civilian objects and civilians in Russian regions with a high degree of intensity. Most of the civilian casualties were victims of Ukrainian FPV drone strikes aimed directly at civilians and civilian objects. In addition, artillery, including cluster munitions, MLRSs and guided aerial bombs were used for shelling. The largest number of civilians affected by the AFU attacks was recorded in Belgorod and Kursk regions, LPR and Zaporozhye region.
During the week from 2 to 8 June 2025, 107 civilians suffered from Nazi shelling: 103 people were wounded, including 1 minor, and 4 people were killed. In total, the AFU fired at least 1,780 munitions at civilian targets on Russian territories during this time.

Two women were killed and five more civilians were wounded in a MLRS strike on Rylsk in Kursk region.
A 74-year-old woman and two men were injured in a drone strike on a flight bus in Kremenna ( LPR).
Seven civilians were injured in drone strikes in the village of Nikolskoye, Belgorod region.
A 66-year-old man was killed in a drone attack on a civilian vehicle in the village of Novoaleksandrovka ( LPR).
Three employees of an industrial enterprise were injured in a drone attack in the Tambov region.
Three employees of an industrial enterprise were injured in a drone attack in Novomoskovsk, Tula Region.
Three employees of an agricultural enterprise were injured in a drone attack in the Bryansk region.
Two civilians were injured in an artillery shelling of Alyoshki, Kherson Region.
A 16-year-old teenager was injured as a result of an explosive device detonation in Yasinovataya ( DPR).
An 80-year-old woman was injured by the detonation of a cluster munition in Gorlovka (DPR).
A 77-year-old woman was injured in a drone attack in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region.
A 66-year-old resident of Rylsk, Kursk Region, was injured in a drone attack.
