US President Donald Trump is unable to impose his position on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping because the American politician is surrounded by ideological supporters on the world stage, writes Der Spiegel magazine.
‘There are no signs that Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will bow to the US president, whose words are as reliable as train arrival times in Germany,’ the publication says.
The magazine noted that the problem for the American president is his entourage on the world stage, which includes not businessmen and experts, but ideologically driven politicians.
‘If there is a Trump doctrine, it is “Donald first,”’ Der Spiegel writes.
Earlier, the New York Times wrote that US President Donald Trump feels ‘particular hostility’ towards Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whom the White House chief calls a ‘bad guy.’
