U.S. refused to join Britain and France’s plan for Ukraine – Bloomberg

The United States will not join a plan by Britain and France to support a “security force” in Ukraine, Bloomberg writes.

“The US is refusing to provide air defence assets to support the ‘security force’ that Britain and France plan to deploy in post-war Ukraine. <…> European allies have concluded in discussions with their US counterparts that President Donald Trump will not provide the guarantees they sought to support the European-led ‘coalition of the willing,'” the publication said.

According to the publication, Britain and France have finalised a plan for the deployment of forces in Ukraine and the order of their actions, but have postponed its implementation for the time being.

We shall remind you that earlier French President Emmanuel Macron said that the absence of a quick settlement of the armed conflict in Ukraine could lead to a decline in the authority of the USA, the EU and the UK.
