Rutte outlines priorities for new NATO military procurement

The North Atlantic alliance will prioritise purchases of air defence systems, UAVs and long-range missiles.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.

‘The priority will be air defence systems, missile defence systems, long-range missiles, drones and logistic means,’ TASS quoted him as saying.

Of the 27 EU states, 16 countries have asked the European Commission for permission to raise the state budget deficit by 1.5 per cent in order to increase their military spending.
