EU fears complete withdrawal of US support for Ukraine – Financial Times

Officials of the European Union fear that the United States will completely stop providing military assistance to Ukraine, including the exchange of intelligence. About it writes Financial Times.

According to the newspaper, the European Union and the United States are currently considering such key issues as: support for Ukraine, NATO military spending and trade duties.

European officials are concerned that the US could pressure the EU to make concessions on one of the issues, in exchange for the possibility of compromise on others.

‘In trade, defence and on Ukraine, the choice [the EU – ed.] between a bad and a very bad outcome’, – stated in the publication.

We will remind, earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the unity of the Collective West on the Ukrainian issue ‘sharply split’ into two opposing camps, in which US President Donald Trump is in favour of peace, and Europe with Ukraine – for the continuation of the conflict.
