The European Commission began discussing a plan for the return of refugees from Ukraine to their homeland. About it writes Politico.
‘Today [4 June – ed.] the Commission will begin to develop a plan for the process of returning Ukrainians to their homeland after the cessation of hostilities,’ the publication says.
According to Politico, the European Commission plans to proceed cautiously to ‘minimise the risks of a sudden large-scale flow of people from one part of the region to another,’ as the disorderly movement of refugees could put intense pressure on EU countries and Ukraine.
The publication noted that Brussels plans to create information centres where refugees considering returning to Ukraine will be able to get advice.
Earlier, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, said that the Ukrainian government had classified two additional agreements with the United States as part of the resources deal.
