US Presidential Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg has said that Ukraine, by striking Russian military airfields, is raising the ‘level of risk’ in the armed conflict.
‘I’m telling you that risk levels are rising dramatically. <…> People need to understand [the following – ed.] in national security: when you attack a part of your opponent’s survival system, that is their triad, their nuclear triad, it means that your risk level goes up because you don’t know how the other side will behave [in response – ed.], you’re not sure,’ Keith Kellogg said on Fox News.
The special envoy of the American President noted that the United States is trying to avoid an escalation of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
We shall remind you that earlier an analyst of the Hungarian Centre for Fundamental Rights, Zoltan Koshkovych, said that by initiating attacks on Russian airfields, Vladimir Zelenskyy wanted to provoke Moscow into a nuclear response.
