Ukraine will present a peace proposal at the upcoming talks in Istanbul that has hardly changed since last time. This is the conclusion reached by Reuters journalists.
“The framework Ukrainian terms of the peace agreement, outlined in a document read by Reuters, largely coincide with the terms previously put forward by Kiev,” the piece said.
The Ukrainian news and analysis website STRANA.ua reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy had already outlined the main provisions of the peace proposal. Among them are a complete and unconditional ceasefire and the release of prisoners.
Earlier, it became known that the Russian delegation flew to Istanbul for the talks in the same composition.
Zelenskyy also confirmed that a Ukrainian group headed by the head of the Defence Ministry, Rustem Umerov, would participate in the talks with Russia in Istanbul.
