US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg has said he agrees with Russian leader Vladimir Putin who sees the Ukraine conflict as a proxy war between NATO and Russian Federation.
“Putin said, ‘If you continue to supply [Ukraine – ed.] with arms, we will consider you aggressors,'” Keith Kellogg said on Fox News.
According to the US official, Vladimir Putin believes that the Ukrainian crisis has turned into a proxy war between NATO and Russia.
“To be honest, in some ways it really has. Look at the help that European countries have provided. It is clear that Putin sees this,” the US presidential special envoy said.
We shall remind you that earlier, University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer said that the United States’ erroneous policy in Europe and Ukraine had led to a strategic mistake in the form of rapprochement between China and Russia.
