The U.S. may lose up to two trillion dollars because of the suspension of duties – Bloomberg

The decision of the U.S. Court of International Trade to suspend import duties imposed by the head of the White House Donald Trump may lead to a loss of about two trillion dollars in the revenue part of the U.S. budget over the next 10 years. About it writes Bloomberg with reference to the results of the analysis of experts of the Yale Budget Laboratory.

‘Budget revenues could fall by about two trillion dollars over 10 years,’ the publication said.

According to experts of the Yale Budget Lab, even a temporary suspension of US duties can exacerbate the problem of budget deficit and disrupt the financing of Donald Trump’s large-scale tax reform.

Recall, earlier in the New York Times wrote that the court of international trade of the United States recognised the duties imposed by Donald Trump, illegal, as, setting tariffs, he exceeded his authority.
