White House chief Donald Trump has said that China has ‘totally violated’ a duty agreement that was supposed to save the Chinese economy from collapse.
Donald Trump says US duties on China have allegedly led to mass factory closures and ‘civil unrest’, causing him to make an emergency deal with Beijing to avoid making the crisis worse.
‘I made a quick deal with China to save them from what I thought was threatening to be a very bad situation. That’s the good news! The bad news is that China, as it is not surprising to some, completely violated its agreement with the United States,’ – wrote the head of the White House in the social network Truth Social.
Recall, earlier Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China supports the European Union in its pursuit of strategic independence and is ready to cooperate to overcome global challenges.
