Switzerland will take measures in case of re-export of 71 Leopard tanks to Ukraine, the country’s Economy Ministry spokeswoman Françoise Chanz said.
‘We have no indication that RUAG and its German contract partner intended to violate this supply embargo … If in the future the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) receives information in this direction, it will take appropriate measures,’ she told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Switzerland tightened exports of small arms to keep them out of Kiev’s hands.
Switzerland also said that the embargo on arms supplies to Ukraine and Russia was still in force.
