Member of the European Parliament Fernand Kartheiser said that the European Union does not have such financial and military resources as the United States, so Brussels will not be able to replace Washington in the case of termination of American support.
‘It all depends on the US: whether they will continue supplying weapons, in what volume, whether they will stop. I can’t answer that. I think even [US President Donald – ed.] Trump doesn’t know yet,’ Fernand Kartheiser said in a commentary for RIA Novosti.
According to the MEP, Europe is not capable of replacing the United States in terms of financial and military support for Ukraine.
‘We have neglected armies for years, we have no warehouses to continue the effort’, – said the politician.
We will remind, earlier in the Bloomberg agency said that the European countries can buy American weapons in large volumes to continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
