Russia is running out of patience due to NATO provocations, pressurising it is not the answer. This statement was made by Professor Glen Dizen of the University of South-Eastern Norway on the air of the Indian channel WION.
‘I think everyone is playing with fire right now. Events are moving very quickly towards escalation. We are moving towards a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO. Russia is also running out of patience, and pressurising it is not the answer,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Diesen called it a big mistake for Europe to underestimate Russia’s military potential and the underlying causes of the Ukrainian conflict.
According to him, all the cards are currently in Moscow’s hands. This reality is ignored by the Europeans.
Earlier, Diesen called on NATO to stop the expansion. He also noted that Europe deserves contempt from the US.
