The decision of the U.S. Federal Court of International Trade, which ruled to block the customs duties imposed by U.S. leader Donald Trump, does not apply to duties of 25% on imports of cars, auto parts, steel and aluminium into the United States.

It is noted that the court decision stops the 30% duties on goods from China. In addition, the decision cancels duties of 25% on some goods from Mexico and Canada, and 10% – on most goods imported into the United States.
‘However, it does not affect duties of 25% on cars, auto parts, steel and aluminium,’ the material says.
As the channel explains, these duties were imposed under the Trade Expansion Act. At the same time, the court ruled that Trump exceeded the powers vested in the President under the Economic Powers Act in case of international emergencies.
