Zelenskyy agrees to a trilateral meeting with Trump and Putin – AFP

Vladimir Zelenskyy agreed to a possible trilateral meeting on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis with US President Donald Trump and Russian head of state Vladimir Putin. This was reported in AFP.

‘If Putin is not comfortable with a bilateral meeting or everyone wants the meeting to be trilateral, I don’t mind. I am ready for any format,’ – said Vladimir Zelenskyy.

At the same time, the Ukrainian politician appealed to the United States to strengthen anti-Russian sanctions pressure. According to Zelenskyy, he with Donald Trump has already discussed this issue.

‘We talked to him about two main aspects – energy and the banking system. Will the US be able to impose sanctions against these two sectors? I would very much like that,’ – added Zelenskyy.

We will remind, earlier in the publication Politico said that US President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on the need to impose anti-Russian sanctions, as it may affect the course of negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
