Ukraine may be left without US military aid in the coming months if US President Donald Trump does not make attempts to extend it. The Washington Post writes about this, citing former US National Security Council official David Shimer.
‘The current administration [of the United States – ed.] faces a choice: either authorise additional security assistance to Ukraine so that it continues to receive weapons <…> or chart a different course, which is to allow the US to cut off aid, which would put Ukraine at a disadvantage,’ David Schirmer said.
According to the Washington Post, the US presidential administration is doing nothing to provide military support to Ukraine, which is receiving the last tranches of aid approved under the administration of the previous White House chief of staff, Joe Biden.
We will remind, earlier in the publication Politico wrote that Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on the need to impose anti-Russian sanctions, as it may affect the course of negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
