Kallas: EU intends to monitor the safety of shipping in the Black Sea without Russia

The European Union intends to monitor the safety of navigation in the Black Sea without Russia’s participation. This was stated by the head of eurodiplomacy Kaja Kallas.

In Brussels, she presented the so-called new EU strategy for the Black Sea region developed by the European Commission.

‘The EU needs a clear understanding of who and what is doing what in the Black Sea, it is also important to fight the circumvention of sanctions against Russia,’ TASS quoted her as saying.

Callas specified that the members of this coalition, among other things, should be engaged in organising ‘critical infrastructure patrols’ and monitoring shipping and port activities.

Earlier, Il Fatto Quotidiano said that Kallas is obsessed with hatred of Russia.
