EU can’t create its own UAV production – Politico

European countries can not quickly create their own production line of drones, as ‘it will take years’. This is written by the European edition of Politico.

Politico believes that EU states could produce drones in Ukraine using funds from the EU’s €150 billion militarisation fund.

The fund was part of a broad military buildup programme initiated by the European Commission and running until 2030.

The publication noted that the EU could use Ukraine as a testing ground for drones and training of servicemen in the fight against UAVs.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was preparing agreements with Europe to attract investments in the Ukrainian production of military equipment in order to ‘mirror’ all Russian attacks.
