Germany has not changed its position regarding the restrictions on the range of strikes for Ukraine. This was stated by German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil.
‘As for the range [of weapons supplied to the AFU – ed.], I want to say that there is no new agreement that goes beyond what the previous government did,’ Lars Klingbeil said.
Vice-Chancellor noted that the statements of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz about the removal of restrictions on the range of strikes by German weapons on Russia ‘are not useful’.
We shall remind you that earlier Friedrich Merz said that Germany, Britain, France and the United States had lifted restrictions on the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine.
