The German authorities, following the UK, France and the USA, have decided to lift range restrictions on military supplies to Ukraine.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said this in an interview with the WDR TV channel. He noted that Ukraine can now strike “at military positions on Russian territory.”
“Until a certain point, it could not do this,” TASS quoted Merz as saying.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Merz’s statements about the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine a play on words.
