US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in favour of tougher anti-Russian sanctions and the adoption of the bill of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. About it writes the magazine New Lines.
“Rubio wants congressional advancement with Graham’s bill because he has a majority that could override a veto in the Senate, and that could derail any reset of relations with Moscow”, the publication said.
According to New Lines, US President Donald Trump opposed the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions.
Earlier, US Senator Lindsey Graham from the Republican Party put forward a legislative initiative to impose a 500% duty on goods from countries that buy Russian energy resources.
