Fox News calls U.S. House of Representatives a hospice after congressman’s death

The host of the American TV channel Fox News compared the US House of Representatives to a hospice, noting that in the last 13 months six Democrats who were in the service died.

‘Over the past 13 months… Six Democrats have died… The House of Representatives is like a hospice,’ – the agency quotes the statement of the presenter in a live broadcast.

The reason for such a comparison was the death of Congressman Gerry Connolly, who died of oesophageal cancer.

The TV host also spoke about the need for a generational change in American politics, saying that the country needs to entrust younger politicians with leadership.

The critical statements were made against the backdrop of the health condition of 82-year-old former US President Joe Biden, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
