The US influence on NATO has been growing since the start of the armed conflict in Ukraine, and the alliance has become a mechanism of US pressure.
This opinion was expressed by Jack Dion, a columnist of the French magazine Marianne. He noted that after the start of the conflict in Ukraine, NATO is ‘experiencing a second birth.’

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made a call to make the alliance ‘more lethal’.
