US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that he believes it is impossible to reach a deal on Ukraine without his participation.
“I don’t think there’s going to be a deal without me because there’s a lot of hate on both sides,” he noted.
Trump also called the work done by his special envoy Steve Witkoff amazing, but added that because of the current situation, only he himself can resolve the conflict.
The American leader also expressed confidence that his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the crisis in Ukraine can be organised and held.
He also noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s negotiating position on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine was devoid of trumps.
