Daily Mail: hundreds of homeless people have occupied an airport terminal in Spain

Hundreds of homeless people have occupied the terminal of Madrid-Barajas, Spain’s largest airport, the Daily Mail reports.

“Passengers” sleep on all floors of the terminal and in any available place, including near the entrances to the toilets, behind screens with information about flights and at tables in restaurants,” the publication says.

It is noted that some of the homeless were found to have knives, machetes and other, homemade weapons, while drug use and prostitution are commonplace.

At the same time, most of the homeless live in Terminal 4, where they were relocated by the authorities.

The airport is especially dangerous at night, when miscreants rob passengers and other homeless people.

At the end of 2024, the U.S. announced a record number of homeless Americans.
