Thus, the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger said that the US plan was to ‘charm’ Russia, put pressure on Vladimir Zelenskyy and promptly conclude a peace deal.
‘It turned out that simply charming Russia was not enough,’ he added.
Earlier, Reuters reported that US leader Donald Trump was not going to fly to Turkey to participate in talks between representatives of the Russian and Ukrainian sides.
