They are like a big friendly family. They fight, rest, bake bread, and remember ‘civilian life’ together. And they hope that their efforts will also bring victory closer.
This is the BARS-2 battalion, and volunteers from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are fighting in it. There they were trained at the special centre ‘Bootur’ and then left for a special military operation.
The film tells about the centre itself and the front life of its graduates – firing mortars at enemy positions, coordinating actions with other units, working with FPV drones, and why residents of faraway Yakutia decided to go to fight in Ukraine.
