If a ceasefire in Ukraine is not reached, Germany will continue to provide military aid to Kiev, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful has said.
About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to YouTube-channel Times News.
‘And it may well be the case that if negotiations do not start and the ceasefire does not come into effect, Germany will almost certainly be ready to provide further aid packages. I have no doubt about that,’ the agency quoted Wadeful as saying.
He emphasised that there is broad support among German parliamentarians for further deliveries. One of the past aid packages reached €3bn.
Earlier, it became known that Ukraine’s permanent representative to the UN, Andriy Melnyk, expressed dissatisfaction with the decision of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to classify information about military aid to Ukraine.
