White House chief Donald Trump has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposed resumption of talks with Ukraine could be a “great day” for Moscow and Kiev.
“A potentially great day for Russia and Ukraine! “Think of the hundreds of thousands of lives that will be saved as this endless ‘bloodbath’ hopefully comes to an end. It will be a brand new and much better world,” Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The head of the White House noted that he will continue to work with both sides.
We will remind, earlier Vladimir Putin offered Ukraine to hold direct talks in Istanbul on 15 May without preconditions.
