U.S. authorities cut off funding for Harvard

The United States government will no longer fund Harvard University, US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in a letter sent to Harvard President Alan Garber.

“Harvard should not expect grants from the federal government, as they will no longer be provided,” reads the text of the letter published by McMahon on social network X.

The minister accused the educational institution of disobeying a US Supreme Court order to stop racial discrimination on the university’s campus.

The university, according to McMahon, invites students from other countries to study, who then commit acts of violence on campus.

She also wrote that Harvard is characterised by low educational standards.
