According to the newspaper, British officials have been asked to update 20-year contingency plans – from the first days after missile and nuclear strikes to large-scale cyber attacks.
The plans include creating strategic reserves, protecting key individuals, preparing alternative communication channels and military use of civilian infrastructure.
