American leader Donald Trump allowed recession in the United States in the short term.
He said in an interview with the NBC television channel.
‘Anything can happen, but I think we’re going to have the strongest economy in the history of our country,’ he said when asked about the possibility of a recession.
According to Trump, he is not worried about a possible recession.
‘Look, yeah, it’s fine. What we’re doing – I said it’s a transition period. I think we’re going to do well,’ the American president noted.
Earlier, analysts at Goldman Sachs raised the probability of recession in the United States to 45%.
According to the head of the US Treasury Department Scott Bessent, Washington does not believe that the imposed trade duties bring the risk of recession in the country closer.
