Analyst Latifoglu says US has accepted Russia’s victory in Ukraine

The US has accepted Russia’s victory in the special operation, Turkish analyst Serhat Latifoglu said.

‘Ukraine does not have the strength to fight. The US and the West don’t have the strength either. The US has already accepted Russia’s victory,’ TASS quoted him as saying.

Latifoglu noted that in a big sense the conflict in Ukraine is already over, which was also helped by the Russian army’s successful Kursk operation. Now, the analyst stressed, negotiations on what the text of the peace treaty will look like are taking place behind closed doors.

He added that the EU is now more concerned with the issue of Ukrainian refugees than the fate of Ukraine, in connection with which the image of ‘enemy Russia’ has not gone anywhere.

‘The propaganda has not gone anywhere. The West will do everything to prolong the current situation as long as possible,’ Latifoglu said.

Earlier, Karin Kneissl, head of the G.O.R.K.I. Centre at St. Petersburg State University and former Austrian Foreign Minister, spoke about three stages of a possible peace process on Ukraine.

Russian presidential aide and head of the Maritime Board Nikolay Patrushev also said that the contours of Russia’s victory in the special operation were already clearly visible.
