A new round of talks between Iran and the US may take place in the next fortnight in Europe. This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources familiar with the situation.
‘The next round of talks will take place in Europe with the assistance of Oman …. The round is likely to take place in the next two weeks, but the US side needs time to consider information and proposals from the Iranians,’ the paper said.
The newspaper’s source said that representatives of the United States want to move the talks to a more comfortable place for themselves.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that the third round of talks with the United States in Oman was held in a more serious atmosphere.
