The United Kingdom has imposed a ban on the export of game controllers to Russia as part of a new package of anti-Russian sanctions, writes Politico with reference to the British Embassy in Russia.
“The United Kingdom has banned the export to Russia of game console controllers that are used to pilot drones on the front line in Ukraine,” the diplomatic mission said in a Telegram message.
The embassy also noted that the new package contains 150 trade sanctions against Russia, preventing access to Western technologies and software.
Earlier, the Reuters news agency reported that during the negotiations between the delegations from the United States and Europe, the EU member states refused to lift sanctions against Russia.
