Harvard University’s funding could be cut by another $1bn due to the institution’s disagreement to adjust its policies.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the administration of US President Donald Trump is considering such a possibility.
The publication notes that federal funding for the university’s medical research may fall under the reduction.
On Wednesday, 16 April, it was reported that Trump called Harvard a laughingstock and threatened to deprive the institution of funding.
