Warsaw Mayor and Polish presidential candidate from the ruling Civic coalition Rafal Trzaskowski called for people to stop considering Ukrainians as their fellow citizens.
“We can’t keep doing this forever,” he said in an interview with the Financial Times newspaper.
According to him, Poland initially treated refugees from Ukraine as its citizens, providing immigration benefits and social guarantees.
Marek Jakubiak, a presidential candidate from the Polish Free Republicans faction, believes that migrants from Ukraine are dangerous for Poland.
