State Department spokeswoman: Russia did not reject Trump’s proposal for peace in Ukraine

The State Department cannot claim that Russia allegedly rejected US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine.

This was stated by the official representative of the state Department Tammy Bruce, writes RIA Novosti.

‘I would argue and slightly refute your assertion,’ she responded to a question about Russia allegedly rejecting the US proposal.

Earlier, Bruce said that representatives of the United States will discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine with European partners in Paris.

As The Washington Post reported, Ukraine’s allies in the European Union are trying to persuade the United States to take a tougher stance towards Russia.
