Israel states to do everything possible that Iran could not get nuclear weapons. This statement was made by the head of the Israeli Defence Ministry Yisrael Katz.
‘Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I … intend to draw a clear line that will prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. We will not allow threats to destroy the State of Israel,’ TASS quoted him as saying.
Katz called it Israel’s responsibility and historical role. He said that when he was appointed defence minister he promised to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and to win the war in Gaza.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that Israel has a plan to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities in May, counting on the support of the United States.
