Ukraine’s European allies are making efforts to persuade the United States to take a tougher stance towards Russia. This was written in the Washington Post newspaper.
“Ukraine’s key European allies <…> are trying to persuade Washington to take a tougher stance on Russia,” the newspaper said.
According to the Washington Post, a European official said that Europe would start persuading the USA to change its position to a tougher one already today.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that the European Union needed to impose the “heaviest” sanctions on Russia in order to “strangle” its economy.
