The European Union believes that representatives of US President Donald Trump’s administration are not interested in the opinion of their European allies and stick to a ‘unilateral approach’, the New York Times reports.
‘European officials said they found Trump’s officials polite but consumed with fulfilling the president’s wishes, saying they [American officials – ed.] showed little interest in their allies,’ the publication said.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, representatives of the Trump administration did not warn the Europeans about the resumption of negotiations with Iran.
Recall, earlier in the Financial Times wrote that China seeks to strengthen economic ties with the European Union to compensate for losses from the trade war with the United States.
