Iran’s foreign ministry said a new round of talks with the US would take place in a week’s time

Head of Iran’s Foreign Ministry Abbas Araghchi and US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Whitkoff have agreed to continue talks on resolving the situation around Iran’s nuclear programme next week.

This was said in a statement published in the Telegram channel of the Islamic republic’s foreign ministry.

“The sides agreed to continue negotiations next week,” the publication said.

Earlier, a member of the Iranian delegation told the Tasnim news agency that the talks with the US in Oman were held in a positive atmosphere.
