Russia will respond firmly to Japan’s steps to supply Kiev with equipment and weapons.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said.
‘Any steps by Japan on direct or indirect participation in supplying Ukraine with arms and military equipment … are regarded by us as unambiguously hostile. If they are realised, our tough measures will inevitably follow,’ the statement said.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Japan was becoming more and more deeply involved in the conflict over Ukraine.
