Kallas: some EU countries are against using Russia’s assets for Ukraine

Some EU countries are categorically against using Russia’s frozen assets to help Ukraine, European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas told ERR TV.

‘Some countries are categorically against it,’ Kallas said, declining to name which states are opposed to the idea.

She said the conversation about Russia’s frozen assets is taking place with 27 EU member states.

According to the head of Eurodiplomacy, there are certain risks that need to be addressed now.

In addition, in this interview, Kaja Kallas said that the US does not value the European Union as a political institution very highly.
