Former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that militarisation of European states because of an ephemeral threat from Russia looks like a ‘waste of money’ of European taxpayers.
‘There is no threat from Russia that cannot be solved through negotiations, Europe is just wasting money in the wind,’ Scott Ritter said on his Youtube channel.
The former US Marine-intelligence officer noted that the formation of a hypothetical ‘European army’ is able to bring results only ‘at a distance’, as an element of a vast project.
Earlier, Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said that the countries of the Collective West were leading the planet towards a new full-scale conflict to serve their own geopolitical interests.
