European and British diplomats at the United Nations are trying to disrupt talks between Moscow and Washington, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said.
“During today’s [8 April – ed.] European-requested meeting on Ukraine, it was striking to see how instantly the British and the Eesovites ‘changed their shoes’. <…> The Anglo-European ‘war party’ is trying to disrupt the Russian-American peace talks,” Polyansky wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that Western diplomats were asking for an indefinite ceasefire allegedly because of violations of Washington’s proposed truce.
We will remind, earlier the commander-in-chief of NATO’s Joint Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, said that the strengthening of the Russian Armed Forces would be a challenge for NATO.
