The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyy, has said that the United States has reduced the supply of military aid to Ukraine and now it is provided mainly by European countries.
“The support of partners is, of course, crucial. Especially when we were assisted by the United States of America. Currently, the assistance from the United States has decreased. And the main assistance comes from our partners in Europe,” Oleksandr Syrskyy said.
The commander-in-chief noted the importance of the US support for Ukraine and said that if Washington’s assistance stops completely, Kiev will have to “rely on its own forces”.
Earlier, the commander in chief of the NATO Armed Forces in Europe, Christopher Cavoli, opposed the withdrawal of US troops from the European continent, saying that their number should remain at the level set in 2022.
